Rippr website is owned by RIPPR LIMITED (referred here to as "we" or "us" or "our" or "Rippr") is committed to protecting your personal information and data. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. Please note that use of our website by you is subject to this privacy policy (the "Policy") and this website’s terms ("Terms and Conditions") of use. Our Policy explains what information we collect on the Website, how we use and/or share this information, and how such information is maintained. You can access and correct any Personal Identification Information ("PII") that we hold about you by contacting us (and there may be an administrative fee payable for this, refer Terms and Conditions of use).
2. Personal Identification Information ("PII")
PII is information about you, which we use to identify you. We collect PII during Registration or in response to specific information requests explicitly presented to you. This includes (but not limited to) first and last name, e-mail address, mobile number and details of a payment mechanism, such as credit card details or bank account details.
At the time of registration we issue a confirmation code and communicate it to you via SMS. This confirmation code must be used to finalize your registration. We STRONGLY advice and request you to ACTIVATE your Rippr account by choosing a password and a 4 digits PIN. Once you are registered successfully as a Rippr user, you can change/reset your chosen password and PIN. It is to be noted at the time of redemption you will need to use the combination of your mobile number and this PIN number correctly to redeem your Rippr reward dollars via the Rippr redemption system.
Note: PIN number is not a part of your PII and should be known only by you. The only way you will be able to change/reset your PIN will be when you login into your account via our website.
We may also collect your IP (Internet Protocol) address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to better administer Rippr Website. An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. Your IP address is also used to help identify you during a particular session and to gather broad demographic data.
3. How we use and share your “PII”?
All PII is retained in accordance with the "The Privacy Act 1993" and other applicable data protection laws in New Zealand.
We use PII to provide you with information about Rippr by RIPPR LIMITED New Zealand, to properly provide you with the Service and for marketing ourselves to you. It is our policy not to sell or pass any PII to any other organizations (outside our group of companies) unless we are required to do so for fraud prevention and detection. We will never sell or rent your PII to anyone else for their marketing purposes without your consent.
However, we may pass your PII to our agents and subcontractors to help us with any of our uses of your data set out in this Policy. For example, we may use third parties to provide us with marketing or customer service assistance or send it to a payments facilitator (Payment gateway) to process your payments.

We also always reserve the right to disclose PII in order to:

  2. Respond to governmental enquiries (or enquiries from a legal, governmental or quasi-governmental or local authority agency or Internet protection agency of any type);
  3. Comply with a valid legal process or procedure; or
